Finally, one of the best Blade Runner-inspired cyberpunk worlds joins the modern age
Back on the 26th of October 2020, we here at Total Gaming Addicts reviewed Cloudpunk, a delightful game from Developer Ion Lands. It was a wonderful game with a superb setting that was only let down by some technical issues.
Fast forward to today, and those technical issues have not just been resolved, but other gameplay improvements have been added. Most notable is the addition of a cockpit view, which should take this excellent Indie game to higher levels.
This will now be the definitive way to experience this stunning game, and any owners of the PS4 version will get a free PS5 upgrade as well.

Cloudpunk will launch digitally on PS5 on August 19th, and physically on August 26th.
The next-gen version features a slew of improvements including 4k, 60 FPS, faster loading times and a range of graphical enhancements.
For the first time on console, you can put yourself in the driving seat with cockpit view and explore the city from an entirely different perspective.
That’s not all, on PS5 you can fully immerse yourself in the rain-soaked metropolis with added Dual Sense Controller features:
- Feel the rain with haptic feedback
- Adaptive triggers respond to the amount of vehicle damage you have
- Your fuel gauge will be represented on the controller light bar
Players who already own the PS4 version of Cloudpunk can upgrade free of charge to the PS5 version!”
For now, this is just for PlayStation owners, but the developer also had a message for any Xbox owners of the game;
“Xbox players, we haven’t forgotten you – the Xbox Series X version of Cloudpunk is coming soon so stay tuned for updates, we can’t wait to invite you into the Series X-powered metropolis of Cloudpunk.”
