I was a big fan of the first game. I spent around 300 hours learning the ins and outs of the slightly inconsistent handling model, and crashing (literally) 1000’s of times. Throughout this time I earned the full 1000 Gamerscore, set multiple Number 1 times and almost learned my way around the TT course (how those riders memorise that huge distance is beyond me!)
The game had its detractors, but for me there was something compulsive and incredibly satisfying about riding the incredible TT Circuit, and the first time I put in a clean (and fast!) lap around the 219 turns of the 37.73 mile circuit was one of my most memorable gaming moments of 2018.
Due to the mixed reception it received, I was surprised but also very pleased to learn that there was going to be a sequel. Developed by KT Racing (Kylotonn), the new game is being made to even more accurately recreate the Snaefell Mountain course and offer a vastly improved riding experience so that all the thrills of racing are faithfully captured. We will share more news of features and content as it becomes available.
TT Isle Of Man 2 is under development and expected to release in early 2020.
