Touring Car Masters: Season 3

The iconic Touring Car Masters is back for a 3rd season!

Races are held on Sunday evenings: There will be fifteen rounds over five weeks, beginning 21st March 2021.

Series Heritage and Influence

The influence from this series is drawn from the Australian Touring Car Masters series. Setting itself apart from traditional Historic racing, the Touring Car Masters pioneered a new class of racing by introducing innovative technical regulations aiming to improve safety, reliability, cut running costs and provide an exciting and entertaining race package while maintaining the visual appeal of its period race cars.

Showcasing a selection of immaculately prepared touring cars of the pre-1976 era, the Touring Car Masters boasts some of the sport’s most iconic muscle cars from Falcon GT’s, BOSS Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros, Chrysler Chargers and Holden Monaros to the giant-killing Holden Toranas.

I translated this into Forza by looking up the Forza equivalent of the real-life cars.

My goal was to chase authenticity and getting people to connect with the cars. To do so I decided not to fully upgrade the cars handling wise. Why? Because these cars aren’t Track Toys and should feel alive and authentic.

Cool story but what about the racing itself?

1. Grand total of 16 cars to choose from
2. You pick 5 cars
3. The series will run for 5 weeks
4. Every week will have 3 races
5. Every race will be around 20 minutes
6. You race 1 and the same car per week(5 weeks=5 cars)
7. No pitstops, cosmetic damage
8. 3 lap qualification before race 1, race 2 reversed grid, race 3 you start where you finish race 2
9. Tunes are provided

11. Whatever tune you use, it MUST be shared! This way we can make sure everyone is using a legal tune
12. PM221 and ETR TRIAD have made awesome paints for this, you may thank them by using them;)
13. Paints are your own choice, no mandatory requirements, except no profanity, politics or racist things etc. This should speak for itself

Here are the results for Season 3 of the Touring Car Masters!

Week 1 – Round 1-3 Results:

It is a very tight battle going into rounds 4/5/6 between ETR Tornz (myself) and EXR Westie and an even closer battle for 3rd following closely behind! The first 3 races were incredibly fun! Perfectly clean and tight battles especially between myself, Westie and Triad!
