AGON by AOC has partnered up with Riot Games to present the AG275QXL – League of Legends Edition
First things first, this is an AGON PRO monitor, which means the action on-screen is going to look amazing. The main attraction is the unique LoL aesthetic, so we’ll give a quick rundown of the key specs before we get to that:

AOC AGON PRO AG275QXL
- 27″ panel
- 170Hz
- QHD (1440p)
- 1ms GtG response
- Adaptive Sync (Freesync Premium)
TBC: Connectivity, Colour Gamut, Peak Brightness
Now for the bits that make the AG275QXL extra special:
Straight off the bat, the AG275QXL LoL Edition has a bold and attractive aesthetic. The Hextech inspired styling extends from the bottom bezel to the RGB base of the stand, right around the back, with some stunning looking decals adorning the rear. It feels weird seeing an AOC monitor in anything other than its signature black and red, but the golden-yellow accents look absolutely stunning.
The AG275QXL comes with a League of Legends mode; We don’t actually know exactly what the League of Legends mode is, but I’d imagine it’s a game mode preset that enhances the visuals for LoL, probably based on their RTS preset. It could also, however, tie in with the next feature – customised Light FX

That RGB base, bearing the League of Legends logo, not only looks cool AF – the press release we received says that the reactive Light FX syncs up with the action in-game, which is a really nice touch. Having this reactive lighting on the base of the stand should look particularly impressive.
The rear-mounted RGB on AGON monitors always looks very nice, but it’s not usually bright enough to be used as bias lighting, unfortunately. Take this to a LAN party, though, and you’re going to turn a lot of heads.

LoL QuickSwitch
If you don’t know what the QuickSwitch is, it’s a wired desktop remote interface that allows you to adjust your monitor’s settings and flick between gaming presets. The switches are usually black and grey, with a red RGB ring around the top, but the AG275QXM has a custom League of Legends QuickSwitch, and it looks awesome!

Stunning, right?
But finally, the bit that surprised me most – the price.
The AOC AGON PRO AG254QXL League of Legends Edition will be available from March 2022, for the princely sum of – drum roll please – £399… I had to double-check and make sure it wasn’t a typo. Yes, just £399 gets you an AGON PRO (which based on the monitors we’ve reviewed is going to be a bit special), with exclusive styling and an incredible feature set.
This is a great price for that monitor regardless, but for LoL fans, this could be a must-have display.
