The Asterix & Obelix XXL series has been around since 2004, and despite only having one sequel up until this year, it has benefitted from many remasters and is impressively available to play on three generations of consoles. While it has mixed (but generally favourable) reviews, it has always had the appeal of being a family-friendly game you can play with your kids, but with enough depth to keep adults and fans of the characters entertained.
Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir is the latest game in the franchise, and is a brand-new story, featuring Gaul’s famous duo. This time around, in a first for the series, you can now play co-operatively through the campaign.

Asterix & Obelix XXL3: The Crystal Menhir will be released on 21 November 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, in digital format and as 2 physical copies: Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition.
