Dirt 5: Stampede Gameplay Reveal – Total Gaming Addicts

We’re now just over two months out from the release of the highly anticipated Dirt 5.

This latest trailer showcases the first look at a Stampede track in action. The gameplay shown is raw in-game footage, with no snappy edits or over-dubbed music to accompany it, and it’s something I wish more developers would do, as it gives you an honest, genuine look at what the game will look like.

The track layout looks like a whole lot of fun, with the Jimco Unlimited Truck negotiating the twists, turns and frequent elevation changes of Sandstone Valley. We also get to see the dynamic weather system in play, and how it changes not only the visuals but the physical track surface, too.

Stampede features rough terrain and the opportunity for vehicles to get airborne with jumps dotted throughout each circuit. Perfect for unlimited trucks and buggies, the action intensifies with 12 cars all battling for victory so players will need to get their elbows out and hold their nerve.Robert Karp, DIRT 5 Development Director at Codemasters

Players who purchase the Amplified Edition will receive exclusive content and three days’ early access. The game supports both Xbox Smart Delivery and PlayStation’s free upgrade when players switch to an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5.

DIRT 5 releases on the 9^th October 2020 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, followed later this year by Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. A Google Stadia version will release in early 2021.
