Doom Eternal is a fantastic game, and one of the best FPS games out there.
Doom Eternal is a blisteringly fast-paced, adrenaline-soaked action-fest, and one of the best first-person shooters of this generation. While the new tactical approach to eliminating enemy weak points may be off-putting to some, for the majority of gamers this will add a new layer of depth to the gameplay, but it most importantly still feels like Doom, and doesn’t negate the core philosophy of ‘run, shoot, kill, repeat’. The story may be thin on the ground, but that doesn’t matter one iota when killing things is this much fun.

We gave Doom Eternal 9.5/10 in our review, and now, thanks to Game Pass, even more people can experience this excellent game.
With Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Zenimax Media and associated studios, we’re likely to see a lot more of these titles coming to Game Pass in the coming months, and we couldn’t be happier. New releases will be coming day one to the service, and there’s an impressive back-catalogue of titles available for Xbox to bolster up its offerings with Game Pass. It’s never been a better time to be an Xbox gamer, whether on console, PC or mobile.
Doom External is coming to Game Pass for console on the 1st October 2020, and to Game Pass for PC later in 2020.
