E3 2020, originally scheduled to go ahead from the 9th to 11th June this year, has been cancelled.
It’s not surprising, given how many high-profile and large scale events have been cancelled, with organisers citing safety concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak as the reason.
Fortunately, all of the news and announcements will be made available online, so we won’t miss out on all the exciting developments surrounding new releases, the new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, and much more.
In reality, for the majority of people who follow the news and weren’t planning on attending, it won’t be much different from other years. With developers unable to showcase their demos to gamers in attendance, we may even see a few extra downloadable playable demos released around the time, so, silver linings.
We will be bringing you full coverage of all the major announcements regardless, so we look forward to joining you in June, from the comfort of the office.
