Epic next-gen gameplay reveal incoming!
Despite what we previously thought, this reveal is concentrating on gameplay, and is purported to only going to stream at 1080/30. It’s a little underwhelming, to be honest, however, as we saw with the Xbox “gameplay” reveal, all those trailers were available on YouTube in full 4k60 glory.
Sony may surprise us and show the console, but it hasn’t been stated they will so don’t hold your breath. As I’m sure many would agree anyway, games sell consoles, not the shape of the box. With a lot of expected sequels and remasters touted as making up the majority of the launch line-up, we can expect some big reveals.
I am personally hoping to see some new exciting IP announced to really stamp Sony’s mark of authority on the next generation.
