PS5 Price And Release Date Announced

In what should come as no surprise to anyone following the recent “leaks” and rumours, we have the confirmed pricing and launch date for PS5.

Yes, you can listen to other sites ramble on for pages before they get to the point but we know what you want. Here’s the prices and launch date:

PS5: £449.99

PS5 Digital : £359.99

Launch date is 12th November for USA, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea

19th November – everywhere else.

So there you have it. I’m sure Sony originally planned to launch for a higher price, but Xbox played their hand first, and Sony have responded (very well).

I can envision a whole lot of digital PS5s flying off the shelves this holiday season.

Ooh, I almost forgot!

We finally got to see the rear of the console!

2 x USB, 1 x HDMI, 1 x RJ45. Sony have ditched the S/PDIF too (boo!)
