PlayStation Drops Two New God of War Ragnarok Trailers
We finally put an end to the speculation that God Of War had been delayed until 2023, as PlayStation just released a new cinematic trailer, titled “Father & Son”, with a release date announcement at the end: In just four short (or agonisingly long) months, we can finally get our hands on Ragnarok – The official release date is 9th November 2022.
This will be music to many PlayStation and God of War fans, as the game wasn’t mentioned during the recent State of Play presentation, which fueled the speculation that the game would be delayed until 2023.
“From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world.
Together, Kratos and Atreus venture deep into the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for war. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters.
As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus find themselves choosing between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms…”
If this wasn’t good enough news already, Sony also released a second God of War Ragnarok trailer featuring Ryan Hurst (who plays Thor), and Art Director Rafael Grassetti unboxing the Collectors Edition and Jotnar versions of the game.
We here at Total Gaming Addicts are huge fans of the seminal hack and slash series, and we will be bringing you much more news as we approach the game’s worldwide release date of the 9th of November 2022.
