Sequel to the multi-million selling MudRunner (available on Game Pass if you haven’t tried it), SnowRunner continues the off-road simulation IP with a new graphics engine, new physics and, if you couldn’t guess from the title, a change in terrain to snowy forests, frozen lakes and ice fields.
As you can see, some of the terrain, environments and obstacles look pretty extreme. For fans of the first game, this is looking to be exactly what the doctor ordered!
Choose from 40 vehicles from brands such as Western Star, Ford, Chevrolet, and Freightliner as you traverse a huge open world. Numerous upgrade options are available including snow chains, snorkels, raised suspension and much more.
SnowRunner is playable solo, but can also be played in synchronous four-player co-op, which looks like a whole load of fun! It will release with full mod support for PC at launch, with mods becoming available to console players at a later date.
SnowRunner releases on the 28th April 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store).
