Sword & Fairy: Together is a wonderful 27-year-old franchise you’ve probably never heard of
Is there such a thing as a CRPG (Chinese Role Playing Game)? If not, there should be!
It’s not just the Japanese that can craft gorgeous-looking role-playing games steeped in mythical lore and history, as that is exactly what Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, from developer Eastasiasoft, is hoping to deliver.
“Experience the latest tale in a legendary series!
Enter a realm that blends ancient mythology with traditional Chinese aesthetics in Sword and Fairy: Together Forever, the latest mainline entry in the nearly 27-year-old RPG franchise! Weaving its tale between the three clans of Human, Deity and Demon, Sword and Fairy: Together Forever puts you in command of a memorable party of characters, each with unique personalities, motives, skills, strengths and weaknesses. Only together can they shape the future!
Sword and Fairy: Together Forever not only features the most advanced graphics in series history, but it also introduces dynamic real-time combat mechanics with total freedom of movement and fluid, screen-filling skill animations. Switch between playable characters and strategize on the fly! Along the way, you can also meet and care for spirit creatures that will aid in your journey. Discover lush interconnected environments, equip your party with new skills, play mini-games and much more as you explore this beautifully crafted oriental world!“
Sword and Fairy, for console users at least, is a series that many may never have heard of, as the last game, Sword and Fairy 7, was only released on PC. But finally, players on the PlayStation system can now experience this long-running series, and what a visual treat it appears it’s going to be.
Eastasiasoft also recently released a new combat trailer featuring stunning-looking real-time combat full of energy and power, together with some epic, flowing, orchestral authentic Chinese music.
We don’t have long to wait, as the 4th of August 2022 release date is just a few weeks away. We here at Total Gaming Addicts hope to bring you more news and full review upon the game’s worldwide release for PlayStation 4, 5 and Windows PC.
