Psychological Horror The Medium launches December 10th for Xbox Series X|S and PC
After months of sitting looking at a note that said, “Release date: TBD”, we were convinced we were looking at a Q2 2021 release date. Bloober Team has surprised us, though, announcing that on the 10th December, their third-person psychological horror game The Medium will launch as the first next-gen exclusive title for Xbox Series X|S (and PC, of course).
You play the role of Marianne, a medium who can interact with two distinct worlds that co-exist simultaneously, with players able to interact between the real world and spirit world through Marianne’s psychic energy.

The Medium pre-orders are live now for both the Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam on www.themediumgame.com, priced £41.74 / €49.99 / $49.99 with a 10% discount for players who order for before the 10th December via Steam, Epic Store and Microsoft Store.
Players who pre-order via Steam will receive The Medium Original Soundtrack featuring a ‘dual’ score soundtrack by legendary composer Akira Yamaoka, of Silent Hill fame, and Bloober Team’s Arkadiusz Reikowski, and The Art of The Medium digital artbook.
Developed and published by Bloober Team, The Medium is rated “M for Mature” by the ESRB and PEGI 18 and will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic Store on December 10th, 2020.
