If you aren’t aware of what Game Pass Quests are, it’s a way to earn points from playing games, earning achievements or completing certain actions on your Xbox and PC. What do points mean? Prizes! Specifically, points can be redeemed for Xbox and Microsoft gift vouchers, eGift Cards for major stores such as Tesco, Debenhams (assuming they don’t all collapse into administration), Pizza Express and much more.
Today, Xbox are launching a massive update to Xbox Game Pass Quests, which will give us more Quests, more ways to earn, and more points.
What’s New?
There are a lot more quests on offer now. There will now be daily quests, some weekly quests, monthly quests, and even some exclusive weekly quests reserved only for Game Pass Ultimate members.
“Our goal with the Quests program is to help you discover and try new games and be rewarded for playing the Xbox Game Pass games you love. We heard your feedback about improving Quests and making this a better experience while gaming, so you can now play any Xbox Game Pass console game to earn points. We’ll still have Quests around specific games, so Quests will continue to be a great way for you to discover games you may not have tried yet. You will also get notified in real time when you complete a Quest! Even if you complete a Quest without knowing it, you’ll get a notification, so you never leave points on the table.” –Xbox Game Pass
In addition to the existing methods, some Quests now require you to complete in-game activities, which will be tracked and can be checked in the ‘Stats’ option of the achievements section for the game.
