Okay, so you’ve got your shiny new console, but what use is a new console without awesome new games to play on it?
(Yes, we know, all Xbox One games can be played with HDR, taking advantage of the super-speed SSD, and more, but we’re talking brand new/specifically optimised games here.)
Halo: Infinite
The upcoming FPS from 343 Industries and Skylabs is poised to become a launch title for the Series X.
A recent leak of a Halo Infinite toy shows the return of the fan favourite Brutes.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
Cyberpunk 2077
CD Projekt Red’s upcoming sci-fi RPG will be available cross-gen, with anyone who purchases the Xbox One version automatically being allowed a free upgrade to the Series X version.
Watch Dogs Legion
Watch Dogs Legion is getting a dual-release spanning both generations, however, whether they intend to allow players who purchase the Xbox One version to get a free upgrade is yet to be announced.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine
Starfield
Not much is know about Bethesda’s new IP, but we do know: It’s their first new RPG IP in 25 years; it’s a AAA title; it’s a sci-fi RPG set in space. Outriders
Outriders is an upcoming third-person shooter developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix, set to be released in late 2020.
