A great price, sturdy and effective headphone stand.
If you have spent a lot of money on a gaming headset, chances are you need some way of not only storing it safely but presenting it too.
There are loads of options on the market; RGB equipped light sync stands, QI charging stands and many more are available. But what if you just want something cheap, cheerful and effective?
The Klearlook headset stand is a thoughtfully designed product. The padded headband is perfectly curved to fit the arc of almost any headset’s headband. Many other stands just have a flat, hard plastic rest or a hook, which can actually damage your headphones. On the Klearlook, this is a large, wide, rubberised pad that doesn’t compress the foam padding on the headsets.
Assembly is a piece of cake, comprising three easy to slot together pieces, and the headphone rest is directly over the centre of gravity. Despite its light weight, it’s extremely well balanced and the wide base also makes it unlikely you will knock it over if you accidentally bump it. The built-in organiser in the base is ideal for coiling the cable into, and although I don’t use the mobile phone holder, I tried it and it works as expected. The cable clip on the rear is a good idea in theory, but I found it easier to just put my cable on the base.
Admittedly, this is just a plastic stand, but despite this, it still has a level of quality that belies what you would expect for the price and materials used.
The Klearlook headset stand is just £9.99 on Amazon, and it’s ideal if you are in the market for a budget yet good quality stand.
