The countdown is on for the world’s largest ever digital games event
This year, EGX, the UK’s biggest annual games event, has teamed up with PAX US and PAX AUS, the USA and Australia’s largest gaming events, to create a global digital gaming spectacle for fans across the world to enjoy.
Running Sept 12-20, PAX Online x EGX Digital will be a world-first digital convention running 24 hours a day, where gamers can come together online to see the latest games, watch panels, hear the latest news and get involved – all from the comfort of their homes.
Featuring:
Games from publishers like SEGA, Bethesda, Codemasters, Wargaming, Square Enix, Team 17, Astragon and Ironward, as well as from a huge number of independent developers
- Saturday, September 12th (18:15 BST) – A storytime keynote with Cyberpunk franchise creator Mike Pondsmith
- Sunday, September 13th (12:00pm BST) – From Arx Fatalis to Dishonored: 20 years of Arkane Studios. A retrospective of the Dishonored developer with Dinga and Ricardo from the studio, hosted by Johnny Chiodini. Noon on Sunday.
- Sunday, September 13th (12:30 am BST) – A panel with Sid Meier, legendary games creator behind Civilisation and countless other games
- Monday, September 14th (13:00 BST) – ‘HITMAN’ 20th Anniversary: In Conversation with Agent 47 Voice Actor David Bateson (1pm) Monday. David Bateson,. Hosted by Ian Higton.
- Monday, September 14th (15:00 BST) – “Getting Into Games – Games & Wellbeing” a panel with Elle Osili-Wood, TV host and BBC reporter on how games and mental health are linked as a tool for wellbeing
- Tuesday, September 15th (21:00 BST) – Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, who will be judging and commentating an online tournament for the new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
