PlayStation 5 pre-order requests are now open for registration direct from Sony.
Numbers are expected to be very limited according to Sony, however, this could just be a ploy to increase pre-orders.
Somewhat concerningly, they are doing invite only pre-orders, raising concerns about availability. What will be their criteria? Will someone who plays one game for hours a day gain preference over someone who only gets a few hours at the weekends? They’ve opened themselves up to a lot of criticism depending how this works out.
