Warhammer: Chaosbane
- Magnus and Digital Deluxe editions release on: 31/05/2019
- Standard Edition releases on: 04/06/2019
An Action RPG that draws on the DNA of Diablo, with 4 unique character classes to choose from as you hack and slash your way through iconic locations from the Warhammer Universe. Choose from a vast array of skills and equipment and team up for 4 player co-op in a game that promises to provide plenty of replayability and regular updates.
The graphics may not look particularly impressive, however as with many dungeon crawlers, it’s the loot system and gameplay that can make or break their success. From what we’ve seen though, this game looks like merely an average clone of Diablo. While some may find a Diablo-like game with a Warhammer theme appealing, for us, it’s a pass.

MotoGP 19
- MotoGP 19 releases on: 06/06/2019
The officially licensed game of the MotoGP season returns, with the latest entry in the long running series. This years iteration features the same career modes we have come to expect from Milestone, with the addition of MotoE this time around and your chance to experience the thrill(?) of riding an electric superbike.
Improvements to AI have been promised which, after the tendency of the computer controlled riders to try to ride through you in previous years, is a welcome addition. Whether it actually makes a difference remains to be seen, as CPU opponents rarely perform in a realistic manner. Multiplayer has been given a lot of attention this time round, with dedicated servers available and a wealth of options to customise your own events. If you can find a good bunch of people to race with, this could be a lot of fun.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
- Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled releases on: 21/06/2019
The original Crash Team Racing was Sony’s answer to Mario Kart. Arguably as good (or dare I say better) than its Nintendo bound inspiration, it was fast and a whole lot of fun, especially with 4 friends huddled around a small TV. This isn’t a new entry to the series but a remake of the original with a whole bucketful of spit and polish.
Not only should this game be great for anyone with nostalgia for the 1999 original, newcomers too will surely enjoy this frenetic cart-racer and we are really looking forward to this one!

F1 2019
- F1 2019 Legends Edition releases on: 25/06/2019
- F1 2019 Anniversary Edition releases on: 28/06/2019
Codemasters has been on a roll with the F1 series of games, with last years title being well received by critics and gamers alike. F1 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the series and this ambitious game looks to expand and improve on the previous iterations with enhanced graphics, a new automated race highlights feature (fancy replays to you and me) and a wealth of content.
New for 2019 is the addition of F2, so you can follow in the footsteps of Lando Norris, Alex Albon and George Russell, as you attempt to fight your way to victory and promotion to the F1 big leagues. They are also embracing online multiplayer, with a dedicated E-sports area where you can prove how good (or not) you really are on a global scale.
The quality of the last few F1 games has us very excited for Codemasters’ newest offering.

The Sinking City
- Necronomicon Edition releases on: 25/06/2019
- Standard Edition releases on: 27/06/2019
Set in the 1920’s, The Sinking City is a 3rd person action/investigation game set in an open world, that tasks you with investigating a mysterious flood in Oakmont, Massachusetts. The developers took inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft so expect some suitably horrific creature design and surreal horror themes.
The developer, Frogwares, is best known for their Sherlock Holmes series of games. Generally well received, they certainly have enough experience in this genre of games but will The Sinking City be a hit or a miss? Only a few weeks until we find out!
